EDUARDO J. ASCENCIO

Prior to joining the Law Offices of Dr. Bruce G. Fagel & Associates in 2004, Mr. Ascencio specialized in medical malpractice defense, defending physicians, clinics, nurses, major metropolitan hospitals and health care corporations on behalf of several defense firms. Since joining the firm, Mr. Ascencio has devoted his efforts to fighting exclusively on behalf of injured plaintiffs and is an integral part of our legal team.

Legal Responsibilities and Accomplishments
Mr. Ascencio's fields of specialty are representing plaintiffs in complex medical malpractice and nursing home negligence cases. In addition, Mr. Ascencio manages the firm's nursing home negligence and elder abuse cases. Due to his prior representation of medical malpractice defendants, Mr. Ascencio has in-depth knowledge of the tactics defendants are likely to employ, and he uses this knowledge on behalf of his clients to help them obtain maximum compensation for their injuries. As a result of his extensive legal background and perseverance, Mr. Ascencio has worked with Dr. Fagel to successfully litigate multi-million dollar cases involving brain injury, birth injury, misdiagnosis of cancer, wrongful death and elder abuse.

Mr. Ascencio's native language is Spanish, allowing him to not only effectively represent, but interact with, the firm's Latino clients.

Background
Mr. Ascencio graduated from UCLA in 1987 with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science. After graduating from Western State University College of Law, Mr. Ascencio was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1996 and is admitted to practice before all State Courts in California and the U.S. District Court, Central and Eastern Districts of California.
